1. Modulated Deep core miner II on Bustard - in Science and Industry [original thread]
While the strip miners dont use turret hardpoints, they use 12000 CPU unless fitted on a mining barge. So you've either got one hell of a coprocessor on that bustard or you aren't going to be able to fit it.

2. how much isk does pos make a day in low sec system? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
As has been said above they will cost you some to keep running, but I've seen setups to make as much as 200 million isk a day on a large POS. It isn't too hard to break even (0 isk/day after operating costs) if you have a moon with a useful minera...

6. Moon Scanning - in Science and Industry [original thread]
it's all a matter of chance, some moons have nothing minable in them (like the two you scanned), others have severals things to mine. Scan a few more moonsand you'll find one with something to mine, though it isn't guarenteed to be useful. And one...

7. New Control Towers... - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Is it just me or are the new towers less efficient than the old ones? you get 25% the CPU and power for 25% the fuel, but the cycle time means it takes 4 times longer on a small tower. wouldn't this make each unit of power and cpu that the small P...
